Toe tapping but could improve balance / reverb

There's a great song here if you work on the mix a little more. It sounds like it has way to much reverb (especially on the accoustic piano), and the balance between the instruments is a little off to my ears. You can't hear the pads because the leads are so overpowering. The piano line also could use some velocity variation and be a little softer / more reflective. Because of the thick reverb, when *all the voices* come in at the end it sounds too muddy to make out the individual parts.

In general I am tapping my toes so keep up the good work!

Crakle responds:

Thank you for the helpful review 8D i understand the reveb part :P but i thought id add a bit of power in the leads i guess thats why u cant hear the pad

thanks for the review

Moody & Heartfelt

Really good, thanks for sharing this. Not sure what it has to do with Stonehenge, but the intensity and moodiness was constant throughout, which is really difficult to pull off. Was this improvised?

Boux responds:

There a few chords structures but all the solos are improvised, theres two guitars, i first record the chords progressions then i record a second guitar with all the solos over it, thanks much for the nice words.

Intricate and Snappy

Definitely finish this up! You might make the build up longer because you get a bunch of complicated melodic ideas out really quickly - I'd like to hear the texture build up slower one voice at a time so that my ear can follow everything. I was rocking out after it got going though. Looking forward to hearing the full version.

Thank you so much for the quick feedback! Your opinion might have just saved this song from my recycle bin. I'll do my best to accomplish what you had in mind with the buildup. This song right now is bare bones. It's a skeleton of a song, like how EJay works. Lots of work ahead. Still could use any feedback from everyone!

THANK YOU!
